LOOKING FOR A MEDICAL BILLER

Dermatology and cosmetic practice looking for a Medical Biller.
• Charge entry and payment posting within physician setting
• Prepare and submit clean claims to various insurance companies both electronically and by paper
• Prepare, review and send patient statements
• Review and work insurance aging
• Process payments from insurance companies following EOB’s into patient accounts
• Identify and resolve billing issues including any appeals
• Answer questions from patients, staff and insurance companies regarding billing issues

Requirements:
• MUST have Dermatology medical billing experience in office setting
• Knowledge of ICD-10 codes
• How to read and interpret EOB’s
• Extremely accurate keyboard ability and attention to detail
• Knowledge of CPT codes and appropriate modifiers
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively with insurance companies
• Extensive knowledge of managed care and insurance policies
• Electronic Medical Records experience
• Certification in coding a must

To be considered for the Dermatology Medical Biller position you must have experience in a Dermatology practice setting.

Candidate must be professional, friendly, energetic, willing to learn and able to multi task.

Experience:
• dermatology billing: 3 years (Required)
Education:
• High school or equivalent (Required)
License:
• Certification in billing and coding (Required)
