Heavy Truck Mechanic

An established diesel repair shop is looking for experienced Diesel Mechanics to maintain and repair their fleet of heavy trucks and trailers at their shop as well as in the field in Madison, WI. This is a growing team, and they are looking to fill several positions, both in-shop and field roles, and are looking for techs ranging from Junior to A level. The ideal Technicians will have experience performing diesel engine diagnostics and repairs, as well as strong hydraulic and electrical knowledge, working on a variety of trucks including Volvo, Mack, Hino, Peterbilt, and Freightliner, with engine overhaul and rebuild experience considered a major asset. All applicants should have a valid driver’s license with a driving record in good standing, and must submit to a standard criminal background check and drug screen.

Compensation:  $20.00 – $35.00/hour to start. Starting wage will be based on previous experience and training. Comprehensive benefit package that includes: health, dental, life insurance, and vision care available after 60 days plus 401k available after the first 90 days.

Shift:  Day, Afternoon, and Night shifts available, Monday to Friday.
