HEALTHCARE Application Developer (Java/SOA)

Immediate contract opportunity for HEALTHCARE Application Developer with direct client in Baltimore, MD.

Trigyn’s direct government client (healthcare) has a VERY LONG TERM contract assignment (30 Months+) in Baltimore, MD.

EXTENSIVE IT HEALTHCARE exp. REQUIRED!

Description:
The client seeks a Applications Development Expert (Senior Enterprise Java Developer) to develop enterprise level applications and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and features and provide expertise in the development and integration of enterprise Java solutions with the Health Benefit Exchange solutions.

MINIMUM Qualifications (REQUIRED):
• A minimum of seven (7) years of Information Technology (IT) industry experience developing and supporting State based marketplace (SBM) solutions, Health and Human Service systems, or related healthcare systems or solutions.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in designing, developing and integrating complex enterprise Java solutions.
• Proven strong knowledge and experience with Development tools – Eclipse IDE, SVN/GITand REST Services.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in developing SQL Queries for any relational database
• Proven experience in designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer).
• Proven strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Strong knowledge of SOA and web services internals.

Duties / Responsibilities:
• Provide enterprise Java design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy.
• Develop enterprise level applications and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and features.
• Utilize a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications.
• Design, develop, maintain and support enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, Angular, PostgreSQL, Corticon Rules Engine and MongoDB technologies.
• Develops programming and development standards and procedures as well as programming architectures for code reuse.
• Interface with business and IT teams to understand and translate business requirements into formal technical requirements and application code.
• Develop and execute quality unit test (manual or automated) to validate that application changes meet technical specifications.
• Work with business teams to complete acceptance testing and participate in integration testing.
• Participate in technical and architectural reviews providing expert guidance at appropriate stages of application development.
• Provide technical input into the most complex and high impact IT decisions.
• Accountable for the most complex enterprise-wide applications and issues, translating
• Highly complex concepts for peers and consumers.
• Adhere to all security, change control and Project Management Office (PMO) processes, and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the IT field or in a related area with hands-on working experience with implementing enterprise Java solutions.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Eclipse IDE, SVN/GIT, Java/J2EE, Spring/Struts/JPA/Hibernate, Web Services, Enterprise Service Bus.
• A minimum of five (5) years of front-end integration experience working with development, testing and business teams on the deployment of business rules.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience with implementing and/or maintaining health exchange systems to cater to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) eligibility rules.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience with complex SQL queries using relational database.
• Proven ability to work with PostgreSQL database.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience with Integrated Eligibility, Affordable Care Act or similar large Health and Human Service enterprise level Applications.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience working with the PMO processes, policies and procedures.
• Proven ability to work with and build and maintain strong relationships with technical and business teams.

Note: The candidate must have the flexibility to work overtime, as needed, to include weekends, holidays, and off-hours.
