Fulfillment Pharmacist – Adecco – Carlsbad, CA

A Fulfillment Pharmacist job opportunity in Carlsbad, CA is now available through Adecco Medical & Science. This is a contract position starting January 2, 2019 and going through June 30, 2019. Shift Start/End Time: Sunday range: 6:00am-5:30pm, Mon- Thurs 9:00am-5:30pm.

Responsibilities:
1. Inspect/ Verify prescriptions/medications and prescription data entered into the pharmacy computer system for accuracy.

2 Work in the fulfillment area to provide the final quality check prior to medication being packed and shipped

3. Utilize clinical skills to perform Drug Utilization Reviews

4. Lift totes 5 -10 lbs

5. Basic understanding of robotic automation

Qualifications:
1. Pharmacist license in good standing in California

2. BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree

3. Preferred: 3+ years’ experience as a Pharmacist in a retail pharmacy, a hospital, or managed care setting but willing to consider 1+ years or more experience as a Pharmacist in any of the above settings

4. Ability to navigate MS Office and a Windows based environment and the ability to create, edit, save, and send documents utilizing Microsoft Word. Ability to navigate Outlook and conduct Internet searches

5. Must be able to work the designated shift and flexible hours
