Northeast Transportation Group is looking for Independent Contract Drivers in Duval County to provide passengers with disabilities with safe, friendly transportation in vehicles designed for wheelchair lifts, seats, and other special access. This position focuses on non-emergency medical transportation, but we welcome candidates with experience in customer service, home health-care, and providing high-quality patient or other care. Qualifications and Skills
- Valid Florida Driver’s License
- 23 years of age or older
- Must have excellent driving record
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must pass drug test
- Able to read maps and use a smart phone or tablet computer
- Valid CPR and 1st Aid Certifications preferred; or willing to complete while Certifing
- Must have outstanding customer service skills
- Experience in transporting people is preferred
- Basic knowledge of our geographic service area (NE Florida) is expected
- Promptness and on-time performance
