This position is responsible for a variety of patient support activities, including the following: supporting patients needing additional imaging, verifying patient appointments, assisting patients with financial aid, and providing support to patients who are eligible for Medicaid under the new law. This position is also responsible for accurate and timely processing of patient “layman” letters assuring that letters are sent within the prescribed time frame, following regulatory guidelines. The Clinical Support Coordinator is competent in interacting with a culturally diverse patient population and embraces diversity in general.
