Position Summary :
Responsible for scrubbing on all major and minor surgical procedures as assigned. Participates with assessments, plans, implements, and evaluates care. Performs circulating duties under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide care and safety to all patients. Responsible for maintaining suite supplies, pulling procedures, assisting with continuing education, precepting, and orientation of all staff.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist Program. CST and BLS certifications required. American Heart Association (AHA) is the organization designated for BLS. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required. OR experience required.
