Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Paramedics (Boston)

Med-eScreen is an industry provider of all-inclusive on-site medical services. We are looking for detail oriented and experienced Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and Paramedics to join our team. We work with the nation’s largest construction management companies providing onsite medical and safety services. We are onsite and ready to help our clients provide the very best in care and safety for their construction workers.

Position Summary:
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Paramedics will be responsible for being the first responder to all emergency and non-emergency construction site incidences. They would administer first-aid care in accordance to state, local, and national guidelines. Duties also include daily administration of site required drug and alcohol testing programs and working with construction site Safety Personnel.
We are looking for someone who can:
• Respond to calls for assistance
• Administer first aid care per state, local and national guidelines
• Properly assess injuries and the coordination for appropriate transportation to medical facilities
• Effectively communicate with Safety Managers, EMS Personnel and Medical Facility Staff
• Assist site Safety Personnel with safety related duties and inspections
• Provide detailed documentation of medical and safety related incidents
• Coordinate with Safety Managers in maintaining the most safe and secure construction site environment
• Administer daily site required drug and alcohol testing programs
• Additional duties as directed

You will need to have:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Current CPR or BLS (Basic Life Support) or equivalent credential
• State Certification for EMT or Paramedic or National EMT certification, (NREMT)
• At least 1 year of experience working as an EMT
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills

You would get bonus points if you had, but it is okay if you don’t:
• Prior experience with Site Safety
• Safety certifications like
o CHST, Construction Health and Safety Technician
o CSP, Certified Safety Professional
o OSHA 30
• Construction industry experience
