Clinical Nurse Manager-PICU

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Nursing Leadership Team at Employer! We are looking for dynamic leaders with a passion for pediatrics!

Position Description:

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of patient care on assigned unit on 24-hour basis.
• Provides direction to the development and evaluation of assigned nursing personnel.
• Maintains operational aspects of the patient care unit in collaboration with support services.
• Contributes to nursing and the Hospital through support of philosophy and objectives, educational efforts, and research efforts.

Qualifications Required:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, and a licensed registered nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Master’s Degree required.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in pediatrics with demonstrated management and leadership abilities
• Experience in an adult or pediatric ICU.
• Able to work under stressful situations.
• Possesses good oral and written skills.
• Master’s Degree preferred; BSN required.
• Demonstrates interpersonal relationships in a manner which enhances communication, promotes conflict resolution, and facilitates staff development.
• Current Health Care Provider BLS training from the American Heart Association is required.
