WEEKDAY AVAILABILITY REQUIRED! As a member of our immunization or biometric screening staff, you will travel to local immunization or health screening events for Triad Care, Inc.’s clients. For immunization events, you will be responsible for administering age-appropriate vaccines, answering associated questions, and providing patient monitoring and follow-up. For biometric screening events, you will be responsible for measuring lipid and glucose panels and measuring blood pressure, height, weight, percent body fat and BMI. This role requires strong interpersonal skills. You must have the ability to communicate test results and health care prevention topics to clients and participants. Although most of our business is in North Carolina, we occasionally serve out of state clients.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Professionalism: Provide a friendly and timely immunization appointment and/or health screening to the client’s employees. Arrive on time to each event, communicate well with teammates, and complete documentation and station clean up before leaving the event.
  • Vaccine Administration: Safely administer age-appropriate vaccines, in accordance with company policies.
  • Blood Pressure: Accurately measure blood pressure using a stethoscope and manual cuff on various populations.
  • Data Collection: Collect and record data accurately, including recording data into our reporting system or on Triad Care, Inc. documents.
  • Biometric Screening (applies only to screening events): Accurately measuring height, weight, body fat percent and BMI (via analyzer).
  • Client Point of Contact: Function as a point of contact for client needs, with an emphasis on building positive, long-lasting business relationships.
  • Quality Assurance and Inventory Management: Perform quality assurance testing on point of care testing supplies (as applicable). Record inventory and material disbursement in accordance with company policy.
  • Onsite Support: Provide administrative or clinical support for onsite clinics and events.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus!

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Prior experience administering vaccines.
  • Prior experience measuring blood pressure using a stethoscope and manual cuff.
  • Reliable transportation.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current, active medical assistant certification or nursing license (in good standing).
  • Experience administering vaccines, measuring blood pressure, and providing point of care testing.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Periods of standing, assisting with inventory, packing or clinics.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.

Travel Requirements

  • Must be willing and able to travel to Triad Care, Inc. events to assist with clinical or administrative tasks.
  • Occasional overnight stays may be required (advance notice provided).
