The Position:
The Lead CNA is responsible for providing support to the Nurse Manager and will assume all of the CNA responsibilities. They will also assist with scheduling for all 4 of the Assisted Living Facilities on our Mary T Campus. Responsibilities include:
- Completing staffing schedules and coordinating with the Lead CNA at other senior living locations to ensure there is consistent coverage
- Place food orders based on current menus
- Accept monthly medication deliveries and ensure dosages are correct
- Ensure there are adequate supplies on hand
- Assisting the Nurse Manager with administrative paperwork
- Assisting the Nurse Manager with orientating new staff to the home
- Assisting the residents with personal cares
- Preparing meals as directed and following special meal plans if instructed. Dine with the residents and provide assistance as needed
Schedule: Two options available: 7a-3p Monday/Tuesday/Friday during the week and open availability every-other weekend OR 3p-8p Monday/Wednesday and open availability every-other weekend. Flexibility to work other days and times as assigned.
Requirements:
- Possess a CNA Certification in good standing with the MN Nursing Assistant Registry
- One or more years of previous CNA experience
- The ability to pass a background check
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
