Monday – Friday 11AM -7 PM (1 hour lunch)

Some weekends 8AM – 2 PM


Wage: $95,000 plus bonuses


Education:

  • Must be currently licensed to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse, APN.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida
  • Valid Florida driver’s license.
  • Valid and current D.E.A. certification.
  • Family or Adult Medicine Specialty , preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians as needed and see patients under a physician’s supervision
  • Practice general internal medicine, diagnose and treat common acute issues for same day patients as needed
  • Assess patients’ health and their demands and implement appropriate management based on laboratory results, physical assessment, routine diagnostic and follow-up studies, therapeutic measures, admission and discharge care in accordance with written practice protocols.
  • Examine and assess patients prior to any procedures done in the office
  • Counsel patients on treatment options and long term care of their skin
  • Prescribe suitable and appropriate medications to patients as necessary
  • Recommend diagnostic testing or refer patients to other specialists as needed
  • Dictate and document an accurate and timely manner.
  • Provide exceptional bedside care and counsel to each patient
  • Maintain a clean office and a clean practicing environment
  • Consult with and take direction from physicians regarding medical care of patients
  • Maintain license through ongoing Continuing Medical Education credits as required
  • Abide by OSHA, HIPAA, and other relevant medical office regulations
