Supervisor of Sterile Processing

Position Details
- Location: Positions available at Glenbrook Hospital
- Full-time, 40 hours per week, various shifts available
Requirements
- Certification: Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) through Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (previously known as IAHCMM) upon hire.
- Experience: 1 year of leadership experience required
- Provides Operating Room and Procedural Areas with sterile trays, instrumentation, disposable items to ensure a quality product for patient use is readily available
- Ensures established procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and case cart assembling are followed at all times
- oversees and prioritizes work
- willingly participates in process, practice, and environmental changes to accommodate instrument portfolio and service to customers
- Preferred experience in staff performance management
- Education: GED, High School Equivalent Required. College Degree Preferred or proof of collegiate coursework working toward a degree.
Compensation Range: Dependent on experience
