Responsibilities:
Our growing Medical startup is seeking an MD physician Medical director for part-time and or virtual consulting work for numerous branches of our clinics in Manhattan. The hope is for an MD who will be a growth employee with the startup through its expansion into various areas.
The role involves under 5-10 hours of work per week or less to oversea medical staff and provide MD consulting for proper protocol and procedure. And employment with the startup as the official Medical Director for our multiple locations.
Having an NPI and CLIA certification would be preferred. If not yet certified should be open to obtaining an NPI and CLIA (will be funded by startup)
Applicant will be a licensed and board certified MD physician (specialty can vary) in the state of New York and preferably other states as well.
Strong Communication, Staff Management and Project Management skills preferred.
Duties include:
Individual Patient Management
Corporate Client Communication
Ensuring all clinical protocol is in place & run smoothly
Partnering with COO on new site development.
New ccount acquisitions (Corporate & Concierge Business)
An opportunity to also develops skills in business development, communication, marketing, patient client services.
Working with many high net worth patients in boutique concierge patient care as well.
Experience: * Medical Office Experience: 1 year (Preferred) * Vital Signs Experience: 1 year (Preferred) * EMR Systems: 1 year (Preferred) Skills * Proven work experienceas a medical assistant * Knowledge of medical guidelines and procedures regarding history taking and physical examination. * Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task * Caring and compassionate * Team player with good communication skills * MD in Medicine. Licensed and Board Certified in state of New York REQUIRED
