We are a pediatric medical office. We strive to provide quality patient care that is built on medical excellence, compassion, honesty, and mutual respect. We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to triage patients, handle phone messages, call in prescriptions, and do prior authorizations and precertification’s when needed. Hours: M-Th 8am-5pm and Fri. 8am-5pm. Candidate must be detailed oriented with great communication skills, excellent phone etiquette and have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Must have good interpersonal skills to work closely with the physician to assist in patient care
Responsibilities
- Answering inbound calls for medical questions and prescription refills
- Prepare exam and clean after each patient.
- Chart preparation for daily provider schedule
- Check vitals and document vitals.
- Assist at front desk as needed
- Relay messages if required by the physician
- Perform EKG’s in office

Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
