The Medical Research Network is the leader in the innovative field of providing clinical trial treatment in a patient’s home. We work with nurses across the US to administer study drugs, collect safety bloods and conduct other clinical activities. You will be working on ground breaking clinical trials, which can provide new and improved treatments.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pediatric or Adult Nurse to join a unique organization and positively impact patients’ quality of life, increasing patient recruitment and retention into clinical trials.

MRN offers home visits for patients on a part-time, per diem basis whereby the schedules are determined by the clinical trial protocol (for example; weekly, or monthly visits). Patients are referred, and the nurses are allocated to complete visits generally within a one-hour travel distance.

MRN works on clinical trials across the world and we require nurses with excellent clinical skills to join our team working at the forefront of clinical research.

Do you have the following skills and experience?

  • Registered Nurse license
  • At least 2 years’ post registration experience required, with some community / home health care experience preferred
  • Experience in Clinical Research desirable with knowledge of GCP (Good Clinical Practice) desirable (not required as training will be given)
  • Experience as a Research Nurse is highly desirable
  • Experience in administration of intravenous therapies (Mandatory)
  • Cannulation and phlebotomy skills (Mandatory)
  • Experience in using Central Venous Access Devices (Highly Desirable)
  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude with great attention to detail
  • Great organizational skills and ability to plan visit activities independently
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to complete complex data requirements

Please note, you will be required to travel so a drivers license and access to a vehicle is essential!
