POSITION SUMMARY
The Licensed Practical Nurse functions under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The LPN contributes to the assessment of the health status of individuals and groups and participates in the development and modification of the plan of care with the Registered Nurse. The LPN is responsible for implementing appropriate aspects of the plan of care and maintaining a safe environment for rendering effective patient care. As a part of the nursing process, the LPN participates in the evaluation and documentation of patient response to interventions.
QUALIFICATION
EDUCATION:
- Graduate of LPN accredited program.
EXPERIENCE/SKILL SETS:
- 2 years Med-Surg nursing experience is preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION(S):
- Practical Nurse currently licensed by the State of Vermont.
- Current CPR certification.
Location: Brattleboro Memorial Hospital ยท PROG CARE UNIT (PCU)
Schedule: Part time, Day, 7AM-3PM, 32HOUR/WK
