Credentialing Services Manager – ModivCare – Austin, TX

The Credentialing Services Manager ensures contract fulfillment of insurance requirements and credentialing of sub-contractor vehicles and drivers. The Credentialing Services Manager coordinates with the Field Services Specialists to keep vehicle inspections current and provide adequate trip monitoring. The Credentialing Services Manager provides leadership support on the development, implementation and execution of all ModivCare compliance program efforts that establish a culture within ModivCare promoting adherence to relevant federal and state laws, contract standards, and ModivCare’s ethical standards. He/She will facilitate communication to manage these expectations in a timely manner.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manages team to assist in execution of compliance process
  • Ensures compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, contract standards and guidelines, etc
  • Maintains contact with applicable stakeholders for guidance in the solution of compliance problems
  • Proactively partners across all departments to manage the timely satisfaction of ModivCare’s obligations under all contract agreements
  • Facilitate communication between all stakeholders to resolve issues effectively using business solutions in a timely manner
  • Directly supervises the Credentialing Services staff
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws which includes interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Data Collection, Maintenance and Reporting
  • Reports weekly to the Credentialing Services Director:
  • o Provider and facility visits, field work and training inspections (if any)
  • o Complaints and investigations
  • o Staff hours and assignments
  • o Reports on vehicles and driver counts regularly
  • o Issues reports as requested by Credentialing Services, Client Services and State client

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Monitors the performance of the Credentialing Services Supervisors, Leads and Credentialing Services Specialists. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assisting and assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Skills & Experience

  • At least three years of management experience including experience interacting with customers, problem solving and administrative support functions
  • Computer Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

TRAVEL

  • Up to 25% required

Salary: $43,397 – $66,765/annually
Bonus eligible based upon company and individual performance.
