What You’ll Do
The RN, CV Specialist is responsible for all of the functions and competencies for two of the following roles: Cath Nurse Monitor, Recorder, or Scrub (diagnostic and interventional); EP Nurse Monitor, Recorder, Scrub, or EP Technical; Structural Heart Nurse Monitor, Recorder, or Scrub.
The successful candidate will be able to:
- Exercise primary responsibility for a caseload assigned by the manager or charge nurse
- Implement physician orders accurately
- Provide accurate and complete documentation
- Communicate effectively with peers, physicians, community agencies, and other members of the healthcare team
- Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team
- Demonstrate safe and effective use of equipment
- Develop a comprehensive plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes
- Implement interventions identified in the plan of care
- Evaluate patient’s progress toward attainment of outcomes
- Assist with the plan of care, evaluate, modify and coordinate care, and communicate well with other disciplines
- Delegate task to unlicensed personnel in compliance with the Board of Nursing Perform any and all other duties as assigned
- Maintain confidentiality with all information
What You’ll Bring
- ADN required, BSN preferred
- Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as an RN in a hospital setting preferred
- Current valid OK State Professional Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS certification
- Position requires fluency in English language to function in job environment appropriately
- Good interpersonal, communication, team-work, and customer service skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through skills
- Ability to multi-task constantly, react to changes quickly/productively, and tolerate interruptions
- Ability to perform work when no directions are given, and give directions to others
- Remain flexible, organized, professional and able to analyze, make sound decisions under stressful or crisis situations
- Demonstrate knowledge of current computer systems, equipment or programs used in the organization, knowledge of Epic a plus!
