Welder/Mechanic

Our Casper, WY location has an immediate opening for an experienced Welder/Mechanic.

Job Responsibilities

• Ability to mig, tig, bore-tech, pulse, arc weld
• Able to read blue prints instructions
• Use precision measuring devices to ensure proper sizing
• Checks tolerances, dimensions and specifications by using precision instruments, such as outside/inside micrometers, spring gauges (inside/outside), telescoping gauges, chrome thickness gauge, chrome hardness gauge, etc.)
• Inspects torn-down components to identify defects and flaws
• Assembles components by using specialized tools such as drills, presses, impacts, torque wrenches, Tuxco machine, etc.
• Learn of updates in policies and procedures by reading and understanding ISO literature, OSHA materials, company handbooks, training materials, memorandums, bulletin board postings, MSDS, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and tooling
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedure

Job Requirements-

• High school diploma or GED required
• Knowledge of various welding techniques
• Basic computer skills
• 3 years practical job experience
• Cast iron welding experience
• Mechanic experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interpret prints and drawings
• Ability to work independently
• Overtime may be required based on customer demand
