What will you do as a Hand-sorter:
- Safely and securely inspect pallets at a rate that meets company and safety standards.
- Smetco Inspector manually guides 70 lbs. pallets from an automated indexer onto a conveyor system. Visually inspects pallets and determines level of repair needed.
- Manual Sort consists of a 2-person team to lift pallets, visually inspect, and place in appropriate stack of pallets for the next step in the process.
- Ensure that proper inspection and separation of pallets are met, while achieving company expectations.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
