Graduate of a polysomnographic technician program or CRT/RRT with sleep lab experience.
One (1) year of clinical sleep lab and/or direct patient care experience is preferred. Working experience conducting EEG is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with the Medical Staff, Department Leaders, and Hospital Staff throughout the facility. Must exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills throughout the facility’s patient populations. Must be capable of working independently and autonomously. The Sleep Lab Technician must have the ability to assess and initiate emergency protocols.
Credentialing as a polysonographic technician through the BRPT (Board of Registered Polysonographic Technologists) is preferred.
BLS is required.
