Credentialing Assistant – Signify Health – Texas

How will this role have an impact?

Provides administrative support to Credentialing Coordinators and Credentialing Manager relating to credentialing of Signify Health clinicians. Assist with initial and re-credentialing applications, ongoing monitoring of clinicians and other credentialing duties.

This role will report to our Credentialing Database Manager.


What will you do?

  • Perform license verification’s for providers.
  • Establishes and maintains a system for timely processing of credentialing/re-credentialing files in accordance with NCQA policies.
  • Obtains all relevant documents and ensure that the applicant completes his/her application within the specified time period.
  • Review applications for accuracy and completeness.
  • Save provider contracts, CMS Training and payroll information.
  • Effective data entry of documentation from initial and re-credentialing applications.
  • Order provider background screenings.
  • Assist the Recruiting Department with gathering information.
  • Speak to providers via phone calls using appropriate telephone etiquette.
  • Email providers using professional email etiquette.
  • Monitor and send re-credentialing notifications.
  • Update information regarding resigned providers.
  • Assist providers through the CAQH ProView application system.
  • Become familiar with accreditation standards.
  • Verify providers’ requirements for approval to work in specific states and plans.
  • Assist with special projects.
  • Provides administrative support to supervisors.


We are looking for someone with:

  • 3-5 years of successful work experience in an office environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic skills in MS Office
  • Accurate data entry skills
