Marketing Manager – Regional Eye Associates, Inc. and Surgical Eye Center of Morgantown – Morgantown, WV

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the overall management of the creation and execution of strategic marketing plans that support Regional Eye’s strategic business goals. The Marketing Manager leads the marketing initiatives within all of the organization.

  • Provides counsel and thought leadership to the REA / SEC leadership team on all matters related to marketing, communications (both internal and external), public relations, and media relations.
  • In support of REA / SEC mission, vision and goals, develops a comprehensive marketing plan. Implements plan, executes initiatives, updates plan as necessary and analyzes return on investment.
  • Establish internal branding strategy guided by mission, values and vision of the organization. Communicate the internal branding strategy and embed it within the organization. Enforce consistent use of branding strategy in all internal and external communications, whether written or electronic.
  • Create, write, copy-edit, proofread, and repurpose content marketing deliverables (e.g., web pages, blog posts, whitepapers).
  • Manages graphic design for all marketing promotions including advertising literature, and displays for practice needs. Tasked with developing marketing materials for health fairs and other outreach programs. Update print and media materials based on event and create specialized materials when indicated.
  • Manage marketing automation and managing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Measures and reports performance of outreach campaigns against set goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Manages patient tracking such as testimonials, referrals, and reports information to assess efficiency of marking initiatives.
  • Manages and updates practice website to ensure effective and current practice promotion, updating content, responding to website inquiries, etc.
  • Oversees and evaluates effectiveness of media placements, including television, radio, Internet, billboards, print and other media.
  • Develop content/campaigns across social media channels, including, but not limited to posts, tweets, status updates, photos and videos to drive consistent, relevant traffic and engagement. Craft meaningful and relevant content to publicize with the goal of increasing social media traffic and outreach.
  • Develop and updating company presentations utilizing PowerPoint (e.g., new and existing templates).
  • Designs, disseminates practice newsletter, as scheduled. Collect relevant materials, information and written communications from contributors. Design a well-crafted newsletter and disseminate throughout the organization by established deadlines.
  • Developing and managing a marketing budget. Plans, develops, and defends budget recommendations, work goals, measurements.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must have strong creative and professional writing skills.
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with web-based marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics a plus).
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision.
  • Will be required to travel to other REA work locations.
  • The position may require the availability to work some nights, and weekends. Regular attendance and active participation/planning at company functions and events is also required.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, public relations, or related field.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in marketing, corporate communications, news media, or public relations.
  • Direct work experience in the healthcare industry, preferred.
