The Companies: Mathand, Inc. and Material Handling Installers, LLC are sister companies located in Woodstock, GA.
We design and sell material handling systems and provide installation services across the US and export global.
The Position: The Staff Accountant will provide financial services to ensure efficient, timely full cycle accounting.
The Opportunity: Mathand and Material Handling Installers, LLC are two small companies with a current staff of 18. This valuable person has the growth potential to become a Senior Accountant, Accounting Director and Controller.
Responsibilities Include:
- Accounts Receivable Invoicing, Job Cost, Collections and Customer communication
- Accounts Payable Vendor bills processing, Process credits, Resolve discrepancies and Vendor communication
- Understand Nexus, Provide Sales & Use Tax rates, File & remit sales tax monthly for multiple states
- Enter journal entries for auto payments, accounting adjustments and Revenue Recognition
- Track and maintain inventory in accounting system
- Accrual accounting for two businesses
- Close month end and Prepare Financial Statements monthly

Skills and Qualifications for Success:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting/Finance
- 4+ years of full cycle accounting experience
- QuickBooks Desktop software experience required
- Dedicated to details & accounting deadlines
- Strong computer skills, particularly Excel
- Enjoys solving discrepancies to get the correct data
