The Town of Davidson Police Department is seeking experienced Police Officers to join their dynamic team. This position participates in crime prevention activities, the arrest, apprehension and prosecution of offenders, recovery of stolen and missing property, assistance to the sick and injured, enforcement of non-criminal ordinances, and engages citizens to build community relationships and partnerships.
The candidate for Police Officer must be certified by the North Carolina Justice Training and Standards Commission. Applicants must have completed the Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) certification program and passed the North Carolina BLET state exam. Preferred candidates will have two or more years of patrol or criminal investigation experience as a sworn officer in North Carolina.
Additional Incentives:

- 5% for every 3 years full-time sworn service (up to 9 years/15%)
- Eligible for up to a 5% increase in pay after successful completion of 12-month-probation
- 5% Associate Degree, 10% Bachelor’s Degree or 5% for 3+ years Military Service (Honorable Service Required)
