We are a busy organization and are always seeking dedicated Construction Laborers (i.e., Lead and General Installation Technicians, Electricians and Apprentices) to join our team.

We are a fast-moving company where we travel (99%) of the time to various locations throughout the US.

We are looking for CCTV system and security system installers for various jobs with our company, some of the skills required are:

  • Install and maintain electronic security systems
  • Install system raceway
  • Install system cabling
  • Terminate CAT-6 and test system cabling and all components
  • Install equipment racks, enclosures, panels, and all mounting hardware components
  • Meet all attendance requirements and working hours of the assignment including team meetings
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors
  • Communicate effectively with subordinates
  • Incorporate, follow, and always reinforce all required safety practices
  • Complete detailed and accurate as-built, testing, and quality control documentation
  • Participate in logistics planning for personnel and equipment
  • Perform as a reliable contact for field operations with the customer representatives Requirements for the job:
  • Must be able to gain clearance to work on or in military and US government building so a clean record is mandatory.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 99% of the time.
  • Must be able to show up for work on time and be ready to go.
  • Must follow safety guidelines set forth by CMN and various organizations we work with.
  • Must follow the mandatory dress code.

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate (depending on experience)
  • Per Deim (varies on location)
  • Hotel lodging is scheduled & paid for by CMN, LLC while you are working on an active job site(s)
  • Flights from job to job are booked & paid by the company including the flight to the first job site

Primary Requirements

  • 3+ years of expert experience in commercial Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection Alarm Systems
  • Secondary Requirements: Structured Cabling, Emergency Call, Intercom and/or Audio Visual Essential
  • NCCER certification preferred

Job Functions

  • Constructs, maintains, and tests electrical systems and components. Uses measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify electronic parts.
  • Ensures systems and components meet established specifications.
  • Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, reports to a supervisor.
  • May require an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.
  • Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
  • Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.
  • May lead a team of technicians and perform security installations that include Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection Alarm Systems.
  • Manage projects to deliver successful implementations by meeting project requirements and adhering to industry and company standards.
  • Coordinate with staff to ensure availability of materials and equipment.
  • Manage resource labor hours, which include collecting timesheets and allocating labor tasks.
  • Interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, and schematics · Demonstrate resourcefulness in assessing and troubleshooting of issues and problems.
  • Inspect quality of finished projects to ensure conformation of all specifications and requirements.
  • Abide by OSHA regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) on all job sites per company policies.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Installation and troubleshooting experience with CCTV (analog and IP based; Pelco, Axis, Honeywell), Access Control (GE, Keyscan, Doorking) and Intrusion Detection (GE, Honeywell, Ademco).
  • Experience working in large enterprise commercial environment.
  • Knowledge in connector termination and relay configurations.
  • Knowledge in mechanical retrofitting of door frames and gates for electric strikes and magnetic locking devices; and peripheral devices (motion sensors, RTE, push buttons and contacts).
  • Knowledge in programming and training onsite personnel in numerous Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection systems.
  • Ability to manage and motivate teams with proven leadership experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, good verbal, and written communication.
  • Must be able to work independently or on a team at locations in and around Washington, DC.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and find effective solutions.
  • Familiar with industry standards for ADA and life safety codes.
  • Must have clean driving and criminal records and successfully pass a drug test.
