$14.00+ (DOE) Plus opportunity for monthly bonuses

Qualifications:

Pursuing or obtained Bachelor’s Degree or Certification in Interior Design / Architectural Design
OR 5 years of comparable Professional Design experience
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Experience in computer-aided design programs (ie AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suites)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Applications, MAC OS, iOS and mobile devices
Strong Artistic skills; including hand-rendering and sketching capability
Knowledgeable of general principles of home décor, design and sales
Excellent communication skills, customer service skills, and organizational skills
Ability to develop rapport with clients and maintain strong working relationships with fellow staff
Highly productive with minimal guidance or supervision and pursues work with insatiable energy and drive
Willingness to learn and grow through coaching and feedback
Sets high expectations. Drives performance towards achieving outstanding results
Able to work varied shifts, hours, and days, including weekends and holidays
Ability to lift 25lbs; shift may include prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing

Responsibilities:

Achieve certification through La-Z-Boy programs
Work within team environment to achieve store sales goals
Collaborate and assist Sales Team with qualifying and educating clients on Design Services
Create sales utilizing exceptional customer service and knowledge of La-Z-Boy products
Assist the Store Design Manager with design schematics & renderings through La-Z-Boy Design Software
Assist Store Design Manager with product selection and sourcing using La-Z-Boy approved vendors
Create design theme and material boards under the direction of the Store Design Manager
Assist with In-Home Design installations
Maintain Design resources, materials, and client files

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour
