IVme Wellness + Performance is seeking a passionate and motivated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. The main function of the CNA/MA position at IVme Wellness + Performance is to support our registered nurses and paramedics in order to provide the highest quality patient care. A CNA/MA’s duties are divided between clinical and clerical roles as needed. Clinical responsibilities may include taking vital signs, monitoring patients, providing a comfortable and safe environment, and the safe removal of IVs including applying the pressure dressing. A CNA/MA works together with the rest of the staff to maintain 5-star customer service for all visitors and patients, as well as keeping the centers clean, organized, and inviting.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Warmly welcome and greet all visitors to Center, providing exceptional customer service
- Keep the patient and procedure rooms clean, disinfected stocked, and presentable
- Possess strong knowledge of all services offered
- Provide guidance and education to patients on the services offered
- Safely and calmly escort patients from lobby to IV start room and from IV start room to patient treatment room
- Report to registered nurse, paramedic or physician on staff
- Communicate any patient concerns to IV starter on staff
- Take patient vitals including temperature, pulse and blood pressure to detect deviations from normal
- Monitor condition of patient during treatment
- Remove IV, monitor for bleeding or adverse reactions, apply pressure bandage to avoid bruising and inform patient of after care instructions
- Sign for any incoming mail or packages
- Promptly unpack and put away administrative item deliveries
- Notify management of low inventory and clinic emergencies
- Be excellent assistant to clinical staff
- Perform IM injections once properly trained by Director of Clinical Operations
- Perform daily opening and closing duties
- Maintain a friendly, yet professional demeanor at all times
- Happily perform all other duties assigned by management, including administrative assignment if needed
