SHIFT: 5 days per wk ( 7.5 hours per day)

For immediate hire! Health Source Group, a trusted pioneer of healthcare consulting and staffing – currently seeks compassionate, qualified, and committed Patient Care Associate for Hospital in Brooklyn, NY
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Obtain vital signs, perform vision, and/or hearing tests, record patient data in electronic medical record, (i.e., lab results, pain level, PEAs, PHQs, smoke status);
- Perform in-house labs, collect specimens for out-side labs
- Perform associated quality control in accordance with organizational protocols;
- Monitor that clinical areas are stocked and in appropriate order;
- Assure all dated material is kept current; dispose of outdated supplies;
- Clean and sterilize all equipment and logs each time service is performed; ensure all logs are properly maintained;
- Perform basic clerical work in service area, answer phones in appropriate manner, communicate any known issues to nurse(s); handle telephone inquiries;
- Perform Electrocardiograms
REQUIRED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
· Two years of Experience in Med Surge
· Medical Assistant
- Phlebotomy
