We are a friendly, family orientated dental office who are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic dental assistant to help with our growing practice. This position is for Wednesday and Saturday.
Job Purpose:
Supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; taking radiographs and impressions.
Duties:
* Prepare treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
* Prepare patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient.
* Provide instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for dentist’s access; suctioning; passing instruments.
* Provide diagnostic information by taking digital radiographs; pouring, trimming, and polishing study models.
* Maintain patient appearance and ability to chew by fabricating temporary restorations
* Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
