Healthcare Help Desk Technician

Contract only. Can be extended, very long-term

Technical Support Engineer-I Pivot Technology Solutions has an opening for a dynamic self-starter with experience in information technology to provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software within the Healthcare industry. Deep dive into these systems with end users on a variety of troubleshooting incidents.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Monitor multiple inbound support channels including phone, email, and incidents
  • Validate customer entitlement
  • Create incidents
  • Triage, troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate incidents as necessary
  • Execute provided SOPs
  • Provide customer communications regarding ongoing incidents

Requirements:

  • Experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Record)
  • EPIC Software
  • 1-3 years of service desk/support role

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be proficient in supporting MS Office including, but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be proficient in supporting Windows OS
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Must be an effective listener with the ability to take the initiative and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience with ITIL concepts
