Healthcare Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of our healthcare organization in Oregon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing payroll, accounting, credit/collections, purchasing, medical records, and pharmacy departments. The CFO will collaborate with department heads to create budgets, manage financial reports, and ensure financial stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial operations of the healthcare organization, including payroll, accounting, credit/collections, purchasing, medical records, and pharmacy departments
  • Collaborate with department heads to create budgets and manage financial reports
  • Provide financial direction and analysis of the healthcare organization’s financial performance
  • Ensure financial stability of the healthcare organization by identifying areas of improvement and implementing strategies to increase revenue
  • Establish financial proforma to support capital planning and financial forecasting
  • Supervise key departments and staff
  • Work as a team with other senior executives to ensure the healthcare organization’s financial objectives are met
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, vendors, and regulatory agencies
  • Provide financial guidance and support to the healthcare organization’s Board of Directors
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare finance and regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in healthcare and/or MBA
  • Minimum 3 years of financial experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Must have knowledge of Cerner
  • Strong written and verbal communication and negotiating skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage financial operations and drive financial performance
  • Experience developing and implementing budgets and financial plans
  • Strong leadership and management skills
