Medical Assistant – Reflections Recovery Center – Lindon, UT

Reflections Recovery Center is looking to hire a full-time and or part-time medical assistant (CMA or LPN) at our residential substance abuse and mental health treatment facility located in Lindon Utah. This is for a full-time and or part-time position (depending on the right person and the hours available) with flexible day time hours completed primarily at our residential location, and some hours completed at our outpatient location (located two blocks West of our residential facility). We’re a smaller treatment facility that houses 16 beds maximum in the residential setting, and averaging 26 clients in the outpatient setting. Both locations are co-ed. The job does entail some administrative work for our residential facility. Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 hourly, DOE

Experience:

  • CMA, or LPN required.
  • Certified to give injections pertaining to Vivitrol prescription medication.
  • Prior experience in office management and or lower level administrative work
  • Previous history of working in substance abuse treatment preferred, but not required
  • Competent basic computer skills and gathering patient information.

Job Duties:

  • Assist with the intake process for all new clients that consists of inputting doctors orders and filling out weekly cassettes for self-administering medication protocols. Doctors orders pertains to managing this for clients at both our residential and outpatient location. Self-administering protocols only pertain to our residential location.
  • Assist with the discharge process for all clients with putting together prescription medications, any stored items, etc.
  • Administer Vivitrol injections to clients at both our residential and outpatient locations.
  • Fulfill medical file assessment requests as needed.
  • Maintain the randomized Urine Analysis schedule with weekly labs to be sent out and updated in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the client ledger and keep track of allotted amount per client each week.
  • File applicable EOB’S and confirmation of insurance authorization approvals.
  • Assist with answering and directing phone calls.
  • Maintain correspondence and faxing per administrative items.
  • Maintain submitting background checks for all new employees and following up with supervisor upon any denials and or if additional information is needed.
  • Maintain inventory of the facility.
  • Ability to complete errands to the pharmacy per client prescription medication pickup.

Required Qualifications:

  • CMA, or LPN certification
