We are a Patient-Centered convenient and naturopathic health clinic currently located in Boynton Beach, Florida, Wellington, Florida, and Port St. Lucie, Florida. Our goal in South Florida is to provide efficient, patient-centered care integrating a telemedicine program into the rural areas of Palm Beach County, St. Lucie County, Broward County, Miami-Dade County and treat clients at their place. Job Description

We are looking for a Family Physician with experience and strong knowledge of Functional Medicine, HRT, and age management medicine to lead the clinical operations and clinic staff. From time-to-time, the candidate will also treat clinic patients/clients at our clinics as well as video conferencing with patients/clients through telemedicine. The candidate will support the PharmX President/CEO in long-range strategic planning, the growth of PharmXhealthOne Wellness Clinics (PHO), vision, and the quality performance improvement of the clinic operations. All work is performed under the general supervision of the company President/CEO.

KEY FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing excellent patient/client services to our clients for their doctor visits.
  • Supervise and govern the clinic’s healthcare providers and review their clients’ files.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities required by AHCA from the clinic’s physician and as a physician.
  • Responsible for medically directing and leading patient care teams of NPs, RNS, and other medical staff at the site.
  • Continuously reviewing client files to ensure all clients received the proper and complete care plan that meets their health goals and improves their health.
  • Attends applicable leadership meetings and may help lead particular items in the clinical provider’s group which establishes and reviews clinical policies and practice standards.
  • Supports clinic compliance with PHO, government, federal, and local policies, laws, and standards, helping to ensure that services are consistent with the standards set by various accrediting and governmental review organizations.
  • As a representative of the clinic providers attends the Quality Performance Improvement (QPI) Committee meetings to ensure compliance with the QPI plan.
  • Leading monthly meetings with the staff and providers at the specific clinic and contributing to the planning and execution of quarterly and annual all-staff meetings. Whenever needed, lead emergency or other necessary meetings instructed by President/CEO.
  • Provides clinical service consistent with a job description for specialty (pediatrician/family practitioner/internist).
  • Responsible for promoting and fostering an atmosphere of teamwork and excellence among providers and medical staff.
  • Providing and performing necessary services, medical procedures, education, screening to clinic’s patients/clients, according to privileges issued.
  • Documenting all patient contact accurately and legibly on the patients’ medical records and ensuring clinic providers and medical staff does the same.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Specializes in functional medicine, age management, and nuclear medicine
  • Graduation from an accredited school of medicine and successful completion of a residency program
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with telehealth, telemedicine, and EMR/EHR system.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience about IV therapy and IV treatment recipes
  • Current licensure by the Florida State free from restrictions or limitations.
  • Must be able to accept most insurances; federal and commercial.
  • Ability to write prescriptions when necessary
  • Must have malpractice insurance.
  • Experience in the development and management of quality, risk, and utilization review processes.
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership, verbal and written communication, and analytic skills.
  • Excels while under pressure
  • Experience and strong knowledge of Functional Medicine, HRT, and age management medicine
  • Skill in providing excellent customer service, care, and support; organizing and prioritizing workload and meeting goals and deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to participation on clinical committees, providing education, Quality Review, and/or other activities.

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

REQUIRED CREDENTIALS

  • Current licensure as an MD/DO to practice in the State of Florida, by the State Board of Medical Examiners.
  • Clear Level II Fingerprinting Background check
  • Current CPR Certification required (ACLS preferred)
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License and in good status
  • Malpractice Insurance
  • NPI number
  • Medicare and Medicaid Provider
  • Can accept major commercial insurances in Florida
  • Current and updated Immunization Records
  • Current PPD (within 1 year)
  • Current Statement of Good Health within 6 months.

Job Type: Part-time

  • Salary: $120,000 annually
