Dental Sterilization Technician (advancement to Assistant/Admin available) – Holliday Dental – Seattle, WA

Location

We are located in the heart of West Seattle, WA just off of ‘the Junction’. Situated southwest of downtown Seattle, we have lots to offer. From playing volleyball on Alki Beach, to kayaking and sunbathing along the Puget Sound, you’re sure to stay busy. Practice Overview

At Holliday Dental, you’ll be joining a small, but mighty team committed to making each interaction with our patients personal. If you like bells and whistles, we’ve got them! As a fully digital, high-tech office we have an iTero Scanner, CBCT, and Lightwalker Laser to name a few. We don’t just focus on oral health – we factor in the whole body for overall health and wellness including addressing airway, nutrition, and material compatibility. What You’ll Be Working On

  • Ensure the highest standards of customer service are delivered to our patients
  • Sterilization and maintenance of instruments and equipment to keep the flow of the office going
  • Setup and breakdown in operatories for procedures
  • Regularly inspect areas making sure they are clean, organized and stocked
  • Assist with inventory supply levels and ordering
  • Running maintenance on equipment and ensure all instruments are functioning properly
  • Undertake lab projects as instructed
  • Assist with charting and seating patients
  • Work collaboratively with fellow team members
  • Be willing to be cross trained and assist with front office duties when needed
  • Have the opportunity to be trained on the job to grow into advanced roles such as dental assisting or business administrative

Qualifications

  • No experience in the dental field is needed but an interest is preferred
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt and be flexible
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with the ability to work independently on goals and objectives
  • Active Registered Dental Assistant in the State of Washington (can be obtained at hiring)
