Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Maintain good public relations with all patients, staff and general public
· Greet patients and vendors.
· Sign patients into their appointment, collect payments
· Make new appointments, as necessary. Maintain appointment schedule for medical staff
· Answer telephone in a professional and patient-friendly manner
· Maintain appointment communications with medical staff
· Maintain office supplies
· Sort in-coming and out-going US Mail, and express packages, etc.
· Perform general clerical and administrative duties, as needed, including making copies, faxing, emails, etc.
· Ability to work on a computer in a proficient manner
· Provide a welcoming environment and answer patients’ non-medial questions
· Creating, organizing, and maintain patient files in a confidential manner.
· In addition to these responsibilities, other duties may be assigned from time to time,
Qualifications:
· Bilingual English/Spanish required
· Completion of medical assistant training program required
· Minimum of one – year experience in receptionist role
Eclinicalworks experience is highly preferred
Compensation is negotiable based on experience
