If you are a friendly, dedicated and self-motivated Medical Assistant with a minimum of 5 years of in office experience and want to make a difference by helping create families and want to assist with urological needs, please apply for an immediate position with Male Fertility & Sexual Medicine Specialists. The practice is seeking a full-time medical assistant (40+ hours per week, Monday through Friday) to ASSIST IN A LEADERSHIP ROLE. The corporation headquarters are based in San Diego by Alvarado Hospital.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must always be friendly, happy, courteous and professional always. A medical assistant’s skill set is the basis to build upon the specifics of male and female reproduction and you will learn on the job. Previous experience scheduling patients electronically in a medical practice is essential and any knowledge of eClinical Solutions will be a large benefit. Bilingual speaking is a definite asset especially Spanish or Mandarin and urology experience will be considered first.
Medical assistant will perform all duties for an active urology and reproductive medicine facility including but not limited to medical recording of vitals, medical and surgical history, filling prescriptions, triaging and responding to phone calls, faxes and electronic messages, fee collection, scheduling appointments, set up and break down of inter-office procedures, assisting on cases when necessary, performing some testing (uro-flow) and procedures (PTNS) and other essential duties to the practice.
Compensation will be based on knowledge, experience and training but generally be between 20 and 23 dollars per hour. The job includes health care benefits after 60 days and options for 401(K) etc and other benefits.
