Occupational Therapy Assistant – Premier Therapy – Canton, OH

We are looking for exceptional Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA) to join our team and work at our partner’s skilled nursing facility located in Portage Lakes and North Canton areas.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant to work in a dynamic therapy environment where you can make a difference every day!

You Will:

  • Provide occupational therapy support services under the direction of a licensed/certified Occupational Therapist.
  • Assist in screening and initial evaluation of all patients.
  • Implement treatment for all assigned patients.
  • Deliver treatment according to the established treatment plan.
  • Accurately document progress toward objectives.
  • Communicate patient status and needs to the patient, the patient’s family, the staff and other professionals.
  • Maintain a positive level of interaction with facilities and clients.
  • Sustain superior client relations with facilities and their staff.

What We Need from You:

  • A commitment to helping our residents achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Proof of being a graduate of an ACOTE approved school for Occupational Therapy Assistants.
  • A valid state professional license.
  • A valid state driver’s license.
  • A completed and successful TB test, physical examination and a criminal background check.
