We are looking for exceptional Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA) to join our team and work at our partner’s skilled nursing facility located in Portage Lakes and North Canton areas.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant to work in a dynamic therapy environment where you can make a difference every day!
You Will:
- Provide occupational therapy support services under the direction of a licensed/certified Occupational Therapist.
- Assist in screening and initial evaluation of all patients.
- Implement treatment for all assigned patients.
- Deliver treatment according to the established treatment plan.
- Accurately document progress toward objectives.
- Communicate patient status and needs to the patient, the patient’s family, the staff and other professionals.
- Maintain a positive level of interaction with facilities and clients.
- Sustain superior client relations with facilities and their staff.
What We Need from You:
- A commitment to helping our residents achieve optimal outcomes.
- Proof of being a graduate of an ACOTE approved school for Occupational Therapy Assistants.
- A valid state professional license.
- A valid state driver’s license.
- A completed and successful TB test, physical examination and a criminal background check.
