Early Intervention Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) – Littles Unlimited – San Diego, CA

Looking for a positive and compassionate Occupational Therapist to support and provide therapy to children ages 0-3 years. Provide Client centered services to children and their caregivers to maximize independence in everyday routines by addressing areas of occupation, including activities of daily living, instrumental activities of daily living, rest and sleep, play, education, and social participation.

. A successful candidate will be cleint-centered with the ability to adapt the environment for growth, development, and independence.

Support children’s development through some of the most critical years of development!

Duties include:

  • Provide support and therapy to children with disabilities three years old and younger.
  • Receive referrals from lead OT
  • Evaluate and treat
  • Progress updates every 6 months to ensure treatment plan is working and to provide a progress report
  • Make changes to treatment plans as necessary
  • Provide empathetic and respectful care to all caregivers and children.
  • Have your own vehicle to drive to treatment sessions (in home) throughout San Diego county.
  • Promote the function and engagement of infants and toddlers and their families

Required:

NBCOT Board Certified
CA OT License to practice
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

Preferred:
Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
Special training or experience in feeding

Special training or experience in sensory integration

Knowledge of documentation within SimplePractice EMR

Compensation:
Starting at $60 per treatment session, $100 per evaluation
