Assists with the provision of treatment under the guidance/direction of an Occupational Therapist. Demonstrates essential skill competencies in use of treatment modalities. Communicates effectively in documentation and verbally with patients, family, and office staff. Adheres to facility policy in maintenance of treatment areas, equipment and supplies. Completes all administrative and other responsibilities in support of the patient schedule.

Your primary focus on the team is to assist the clinicians in their day to day work. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting in administering treatments, ensuring patients carry out all exercises properly, alerting status changes to a therapist and ordering clinic supplies. By providing this necessary support, the clinicians can maximize their time and exposure to all patients. As an integral part of the patient care team, you will be asked to think quickly on your feet to ensure that patients are comfortable during their therapy sessions while connecting with them to provide a customer service experience like no other.
You will be part of a strong internal team focused on taking care of our patients including the following:
- Your days will be busy working side by side with our clinicians assisting in their day to day needs. You will help our patients by escorting them from one station to the next, getting them started on their exercises, and demonstrating how to use the equipment. You are a total player tending to their needs.
- Ability to stay organized and responsible for maintaining daily, weekly and monthly clinical logs and checklists that are required to keep the clinic in compliance with all local and federal requirements.
What You Need to be Successful:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to multitask while providing an exceptional experience for anyone that enters the clinic.
- Ability to work closely with all clinic staff to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and create a world-class clinical team.
- Ability to stand, stoop, lift and move throughout the clinic for your entire assigned shift. Ability to perform patient transfers is necessary. This person is on their feet providing amazing care to our patients the entire time they are in the clinic.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: *

- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Solid and stable work history
- Preferred Experience
Rehab or direct patient care experience strongly preferred
Medical front office experience strongly preferred

Pay: $39,000.00 – $43,000.00 per year
