WE HAVE FULL TIME AND PART TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE: DAY, EVENING AND NIGHT SHIFTS AVAILABLE TO CHOOSE FROM

1st shift is 6:00am -2pm

2nd shift is 2pm 10pm

3rd shift is 10pm to 6am

Qualifications:

Must be a licensed LPN in good standing in the state of ILLINOIS

Must be able to read write and understand the English language

Must posses the ability to use a computer with a degree of proficiency

Must have patience, tact , a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm for caring for our residents.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The primary purpose of your position is the provision of nursing care and treatment to residents as assigned and under the direction of the Director of Nursing.

All services provided shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures and practices of this facility and the requirements of this state.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

Demonstrates an understanding and utilizes nursing policies and procedures in the administration of resident care

Directs Day to Day functions of the Nursing Assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long term care facility.

Ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.

Admit, transfer and discharge residents consistent with facility policy

Completes all required documentation pertaining to residents admission, transfer and or discharge

Receives and accurately transcribes telephone orders from physicians and records on the Physicians Order Sheet

Order, prepare and administer medications/treatments as ordered by the physician.

Notifies the DON of any drug or narcotic discrepancies noted on your shift.

Receive/ give nursing report at the beginning and end of each shift

Perform nursing duties pertaining to pre admission, admission and discharge of residents

Makes rounds throughout the shift in order to continuously monitor and assess residents conditions including but not limited to residents noted on the 24 hour report

Make rounds with Physicians as Necessary

Maintains the nursing station, medication rooms, medication carts and general treatment areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner.

Administers standard nursing services including but not limited to catheterizations, tube feedings, suction, applying and changing dressings/ bandages, packs, colostomy, and drainage bags and other services as required.

Ensures that all call lights are answered timely

Ensures that resident care is provided in accordance with the plan of care and general wishes.

Maintain the confidentiality of all resident information HIPPA

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 – $33.00 per hour
