Mesquite Specialty Hospital is seeking Telemetry Monitor Technicians to join our team!
Mesquite Specialty Hospital, located in Mesquite, TX, is a 30 bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.
Qualifications/Skills:

One (1) year of experience in healthcare with previous telemetry monitoring experience and/or equivalent education in telemetry monitoring and reading preferred.

Completion of Medical Terminology course preferred.

Previous telemetry monitoring experience and/or equivalent education in telemetry monitoring and reading required.

Current BLS Certification from a company-approved vendore preferred.

Ability to project a professional image.

Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analystical skills.
-
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.

Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Fill-in as a Unit Secretary when needed.
Per Federal Health Care Worker Vaccine Requirements, all employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or be approved for a valid religious or medical exemption.
