Quality Life Services is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for QLS- Sarver who is ready for a challenge and wants to make a difference in the lives of older adults. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you’ll be part of a collaborative team responsible for assisting in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures to our residents.
Essential responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Carrying out treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
- Functioning as a participating team member that contributes to total patient care
- Holding themselves responsible for residents personal care and environment during treatment
- Recognizing changes in the residents condition which would require a change in their program by bringing to the attention of the Physical Therapist
- Handling routine treatments of hydrotherapy, thermotherapy, cryotherapy, massage, traction, predetermined exercises, ambulation skills & functional activities.
- Providing verbal & written communication to the Physical Therapist that is responsible for that resident
- Clean up of the PT department as needed
- Observing all necessary precautions for the proper care, use and safety of the resident and equipment
- Participating in in-services and continuing education as needed and assigned
- Attending care meetings as needed
- Assurance that all care provided meets Federal and local guidelines in skilled care
- Providing timely & accurate documentation of services rendered

Requirements:
- Indirect PTA license
- Current CPR certification
