Whole Child Behavioral Interventions, Inc. is looking to hire a Registered Behavioral Therapist (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy for children with autism. Applicants must have experience working with children with special needs and knowledge of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). Preferable if applicant has experience with Verbal Behavior. The position is a full time position in the Raliegh and Durham area. The clients that we are hiring for range between 3-12 years old. Applicant must have experience working with young children and be physically capable of playing with and lifting young children. The applicant must have experience with Natural Environment Teaching and teaching functional communication. These are not Discrete Trial programs therefore the applicant must have experience teaching through play and following the child’s lead. RBT will be working in client homes and/or school, integrating therapy into the child’s daily life.

Whole Child Behavioral Interventions, Inc. is a small but growing Behavioral Therapy company in NC. We intend to set ourselves apart from the typical Behavioral Company by hiring highly qualified therapists and providing those therapist with the support and respect that they deserve. Therapists will be required to work 5 days a week and be available 8:30-6:30 daily. We try our best to keep travel as little as possible however driving 30-50 min one way may be necessary. A good fit with a client and therapist will always supersede driving distance.

We would like to hire a Registered Behavioral Therapist with a few years of experience who is willing to work closely with a small group of professionals to provide quality Behavioral Services to families in need. We will also review applicants who have ample experience working with children with special needs and knowledge of ABA therapy but have not yet completed the training required for registration. We currently have a 32-40 hours a week of direct service hours available.

Our goal is to grow slowly and methodically in order to maintain quality service and provide families with the care and attention that they deserve. We offer a competitive hourly rate, allowance for in-service training hours, reimbursement for supplies, and more. Requirements: Completed a minimum of 12 semester hours of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences, human development or related fields and be enrolled in a course of study leading to an associate’s or bachelor’s degree by an accredited college or university OR have completed a minimum of 48 semester hours of college coursework. Experience working with Children with Special Needs (Autism Specifically) Knowledge of Applied Behavioral Analysis Current First Aid and CPR Certificate 3 Professional References Clean Background Check Reliable Transportation

Responsibilities of an Registered Behavioral Therapist (RBT) or BT include, but are not limited to: Implementation of goals/objectives set forth by RBT/BT Supervisor/Licensed psychologist Ongoing data collection Daily progress notes Responsible for submitting data sheets/time sheets to Whole Child Behavioral Interventions, Inc. Responsible for performing any responsible tasks requested by their RBT/BT Supervisor that helps maintain program integrity Responsible for completing ongoing competency exams/demonstrations Responsible for immediately reporting (Whole Child Behavioral Interventions, Inc.) any change in criminal history Provide designated amount of 1:1 to each assigned case Attend monthly team meetings for each assigned case Prepare materials/lesson plans (2 hrs/month onsite) for each assigned case. Responsible for completing any necessary training/provide documentation to maintain RBT/BT status. This is a Salary Position- Usual case load will be 32 to 40 hours a week of direct therapy.

This position will be offered as an hourly position or a salary position. We are offering a salary between 32,400 and 43,800 plus company health insurance plan, 401K (company match), paid time off, paid supplies, travel reimbursement, company ipad, and more.
