Ventura Orthopedics is currently recruiting for an experienced X-Ray Technician for our Ventura Clinic.
Essential duties and responsibilities may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
– Perform x-rays
– File and maintain x-ray films
– Perform MRI’s for patients
– Schedule MRI appointments
– Print reports and montage films for physicians
– Order MRI supplies
– Order, dispense and maintain inventory of medications for office
– Order and maintain inventory of general medical supplies
– Ability to apply and remove casts as needed
– Ability to perform CMA duties when not busy in x-ray or in casting
Skills and attributes
Good communication skills
Sensitivity to patient needs
Strong sense of customer/patient service
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and twelve to eighteen months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must have an active State of California Radiology License to perform x-rays.
