Registered Nurse-Week nights, Weekends, Holidays Phone Triage and Visit
- Pemi Baker Community Health and Hospice is seeking a RN with excellent phone triage skills for hospice and home health. Full or Part Time position as On-Call RN after hours and on weekends to triage in-coming patient/caregiver calls. Assess need for patient visit, perform visits as necessary, and coordinate with on-call PCP or hospice providers as necessary.
SKILLS
- Must have excellent critical thinking and assessment skills.
- Excellent customer service and decision-making skills a must.
- Skills implemented on a regular basis are wound care, IV assessment, Foley catheter insertion and removal, PICC line and IV dressing changes, wound vacuum dressing changes, ostomy/ileostomy management, venipunctures and pleurex cath drainage,
- LNA supervision, end of life care and death pronouncement
- Computer skills & documentation.
- Ability to work independently, self motivated and well organized.
- Willingness to travel in all types of weather conditions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current New Hampshire RN License, Valid Driver’s License, auto insurance and dependable automobile.
PAY RANGE
On-call stipend $44.95 on weeknights, $75 per day on weekends, and hourly wage $32-$40/hour depending on experience, for time spent triaging, driving, performing visits, mileage reimbursement, monthly cell-phone stipend.
