As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Escorts patients to exam rooms, conducts patient history interviews, and takes and records vital signs
- Assists with surgical procedures
- Sets up/clean patient rooms
- Gives injections and assists with lab testing/phlebotomy needs
- Provides patient information/instructions
- Restocks supplies in patient rooms
- Triages calls/notify patients of lab results
- Performs phone consults for prospective patients
- Answers phones/schedules patients when needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour
