CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (COTA/L)
OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
The COTA position at McKnight Place Assisted Living & Memory Care, works as with the title “Restorative Therapist/COTA.” Our team of Restorative Therapists/COTAs work together to creatively help residents maintain their current level of functioning, while gaining strength, endurance, and building relationships with residents. This includes building and expanding caseload, documentation, attending interdisciplinary meetings, and maintaining billing records.This position is ideal for someone who is friendly, outgoing, motivated, creative, and enjoys working with seniors!
QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Experience: One year, two or more preferred.
- Other: Excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to work with residents, families, and co-workers effectively.
