Stellhorn is a family run, one owner/two vet, very busy small animal practice. We are seeking 2 f/t or p/t technicians or assistants with a passion for the job, a good work ethic, an ability to communicate with clients and fellow workers, a talent for multi tasking, a detail oriented mindset, a teamwork approach and a positive outlook. Although compensation is dependent on experience, we are willing to teach if you are willing to learn, so while experience/degree is appreciated, it is not required. The work includes but is not limited to receptionist duties, restraint of animals, pharmacy/ radiology/surgery/laboratory assist-tech duties, laundry/cleaning/disinfecting all the time, education of clients, blood drawing, nail trimming, and so on. Our job requires patience and compassion and compensates us with puppy kisses, butt wiggles, and purring whisker covered motors and the satisfaction of knowing we are helping those without a voice and their families through ALL the trials and joys of owning a pet!
